Boise State senior guard Nadia Begay did all she could to help the Broncos attempt a comeback against George Washington Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Begay led all scorers in the game with 26 points – hitting eight three-point field goals in the game. Begay was consistently hot all night long. She hit four three’s in the first half and four more after the break.

She finished the game 8-of-14 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Saturday’s game was Begay’s final one in a Boise State uniform. She finished her career a 33 percent three-point shooter, averaging 7.4 points per game.
