Broncos welcome first ever softball field

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the first year softball program at Boise State University broke in their new facility out at Mountain Cove.

"It feels great to be part of the first ever program and actually be able to see the field from the very beginning to see where it is now," head coach Erin Thorpe said. "They've done a fantastic job."

The team will play all of there home game at the new Mountain Cove Softball Field. The facility hosts between 400-500 people and are up to NCAA standards with batting cages, dugouts, a scoreboard and a press box as well.

"We're all very excited to have a beautiful facility to call out home," Thorpe said.
